Dental care isn’t just important for you, it’s also important to your pet.

Dental disease is one of the most common health problems found in pets today. If left untreated it can lead to infections, pain and even to heart, kidney or liver issues. Our team provides comprehensive dental services, from comprehensive examinations to cleanings and extractions.

Our in-house diagnostics laboratory means your pet’s routine bloodwork requires less of a wait.

Routine diagnostics play a key role in monitoring the health of our four-legged animals, helping us proactively monitor for changes before major problems arise. Blood tests for your pets provide a view of their internal health, giving our team a complete picture to assess their health and wellness.

Diagnostic screening can help diagnose conditions such as:

  • Diabetes

  • Internal Diseases (such as kidney or liver)

  • Anemia

  • Infections

  • Metabolic disorders

These tests can also help identify if senior pets are healthy enough to undergo anesthesia for routine or emergency procedures.

Itch is the #1 reason for owners to take their pets to the vet.

Itching, excessive licking, dry skin, and smelly ears are all things you and your pet don’t have to live with. Our team knows the importance of getting your pet relief, quickly, while identifying the underlying conditions or allergies that are the root cause. We provide individualized treatment plans using diagnostics, appropriate lifestyle or diet changes and medications. With pets struggling with dermatology issues our goal is to restore their quality of life and the bond they have with you.

Grooming is so much more than just a bath and a haircut.

For some breeds grooming is not an option. Dogs with fur that is long, curly, wiry or even double coated require regular brushing or trimming to prevent severe matting and even skin infections. Benefits extend far beyond the untangled hair for every dog with reduced shedding, skin health, nail and even ear health. Our groomer delivers exceptional care with patience and attention to detail, providing a positive experience for your dog, every time.

Non-invasive Therapies

Healing without downtime.

We believe in offering non-invasive options that can accelerate healing, reduce pain and offer relief for your pets without the recovery times of traditional care. Options like laser therapy and shockwave can speed recovery post-surgery, offer relief from chronic conditions such as arthritis and more. These treatments can be done as stand-alone approaches to recovery and relief or can paired with traditional approaches.

Sometimes pets need help finding their way home.

Unlike collars or tags, microchips can’t fall off, providing you peace of mind that your pet has a way to be identified, always. Our hospital offers microchipping for all pets, starting at puppy or kitten visits. When microchipped, your information will be put into an online system that corresponds to the codes within the microchip. If you pet becomes lost a scan will populate the information needed for finders to contact you.

Surgery

Here for the expected and the unexpected.

Our experienced team offers spays, neuters, soft tissue and amputations. We believe in achieving an excellent client experience through discussing options and outcomes for each pet and each surgery. Fostering that experience comes from taking the time to help you understand each procedure and proper pre/post-operative care for your pet.

Your pet’s nutrition plays a vital role in their overall health and recovery.

We trust Hill’s Pet Nutrition and their complete, science-based diets. Prescription medications and therapeutic diets each offer unique benefits on their own, but when used together, they can significantly improve your pet’s response to treatment and support a faster and easier recovery. Our hospital carries Prescription Diets so your pet can receive the nutrition they need right away, without waiting on delivery.

Prescription Food

When it comes to treatment, your pet shouldn’t have to wait.

By keeping commonly prescribed medications readily available, your pets are able to start treatment promptly which ensures accurate, safe, and proper dosing. Having medications filled directly in our hospital allows our veterinary team to closely oversee your pet’s care, answer questions, and make timely adjustments when needed, giving your pets better outcomes and quicker recoveries.

Prevention is the best medicine.

We follow AHAA and accredited vaccination guidelines to keep you pets up to date on vaccinations that protect their health. Vaccinations play a key role in preventing both deadly and serious diseases that occur through environmental and pet-to-pet exposure. Our team follows a set guide for initial and annual shots, while also working with you to determine an additional lifestyle appropriate vaccination schedule that keep your pets protected in every situation.

Wellness visits are more than just a routine check-up, they’re the foundation of trust between you, your pet, and our veterinary team.

During each annual visit, we evaluate heart rate and heart sounds, lung function, temperature, skin and coat condition, joint mobility, and more, all while getting to know you and your pet. We’ll also discuss routine screenings such as fecal tests for detecting internal parasites, blood work, tick panels, and more. These comprehensive exams give us the best opportunity to provide preventive care, helping your pet stay happy, healthy, and comfortable throughout every stage of life.
